The terraced gardens lead to a wonderful nature walk along the river on one side and a lime tree walk takes you to a circular walled garden on the other. The fountain with turtles who spray water from their mouths were originally made of copper and were nearly lost when all but one had been stolen. This allowed copies to be made and for the fountain to be restored. One of my favorite “secret” gardens in Ireland.
