Distracted by the magnificent view of the lakes and mountains near Killarney, most visitors march passed the stone embedded into a wall near a church ruin. Upon closer inspection, one will spot the ogham characters that were carved in about the 7th century. Other antiquities carved with Christian imagery have been embedded into the wall as well. There is also ruined church with a beautiful Romanesque doorway.
