This lonely, windswept beach has a quiet beauty broken only by the tufts of sea grass that flutter in the strong wind, and the sea-black rocks the waves crash upon. It’s just off the Dingle loop, on the north end of the peninsula. There are a couple dinky caravans for rent there, which remind me of the Father Ted episode.
There is a boat-load ramp, and across the bay you can see the mountains rise up into the sky, be it stormy or clear.
