Remembering the Victims of the Titanic: Cahir, Co Tipperary

With the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic in April 2012, small memorials are popped up all over Ireland to note locals who boarded the ship. In Cahir, a plaque has been installed on the Halpin House to mark four locals who were on the ship… only one survived.
