During the first weekend in September, Kansas City becomes a haven for all things Irish.
The festival is now 10 years old and has half a dozen music stages, cultural and heritage stages, a massive children’s area, and a feis (Irish dance competition).
Our favorite area is ‘the snug’. The daily price for this “premier” ticket is $100 — which includes festival entry, meals, and 10 drink tickets (easily $100 value). But the best part is the great location in front of the Boulevard stage, comfortable seating, portapotties with no lines, and a private bar. Ahhh, now that’s my kind of party. Other ticket options start at $5.
