Described as one of the highest places in Ireland to be reached by car, the Coomanaspig (Coomaneaspaig/Coom an Aspaig) Pass along the Skellig Ring in Co. Kerry, offers sweeping views that are unparalleled in the country.

Located mid way between Ballinskelligs and Port Magee along the Skellig Ring Road, the steep mountain pass isn’t for the faint of heart but those brave enough to reach the top will be treated to astonishing views across to beautiful Valentia Island and ranging as far as Dingle and the Beara Peninsula on a clear day.
